It took a while. 3 months and 25 days to be precise. Let’s be charitable and call that an even 4 months.

4 months of being a hermit, 2 months of Mumbai, 1 month of rewriting code, again and again and again. Reaching out towards that ever-dwindling light at the end of the tunnel.

And finally: it’s done.

Well, nearly.

Umm. Just about, actually.

In fact, Dorothy, we’re not quite there yet.

Perhaps the biggest lesson I’ve learnt through this period of difficult mid-wifery and birthing is that after all the armour and shoulder-pads are worn, in the end one simply has to go out into the cold and face the hungry wolves.

To cut a long story short - Ivontu is nearly here. For those of you who don’t know about it yet, here’s what it is: Automated financial news analysis for the masses.

Let’s rephrase that in a simple way: It reads news, and tells you how stocks will react to the news.

Simple?

I’ll leave the final words to Sam Morse. What hath God wrought?

Yes I know your id :). I’ll keep you updated. As for Ivontu, I plan on making a free-to-use service as well, albeit with lesser features.

Hi Swapnil! Yes, it *is*, in fact, pronounced as “I want to”. I needed a name that fulfilled my self-administered criteria of being sufficiently Web 2.0-ish, brandable, meaningful and expressing desire for freedom.

Numbers intrigue me … Stock Markets even more so, and your claim of making accessible to commoners like mwaah intrigues me the most … pretty sure the last intrigue has more intensity than the previous two …

Как можно допускать, чтобы столько порнографии в свободном доступе было вокруг нас? Ведь у каждого из нас есть дети, и они могут спокойно найти самое развратное порно в интернете за считанные минуты! Да что там искать, им же сплошняком её подпихивают, на всех сайтах, даже там где рефераты детки качают. Это же беспредел какой-то получается! У нас же есть закон “О незаконном распространении порнографии”, почему никто не закрывает такие сайты? Как злоумышленникам удаётся обойти закон и оставаться безнаказанными? Они же губят ещё неокрепшую детскую психику, что я считаю недопустимым. Я думаю, что нужно полностью изолировать детей от этой заразы, поэтому предлагаю, всем нам объединится и совместно бороться с этим.
